Integrative Psychiatrist
Dr Nai’m Moola is an independent psychiatrist registered with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA). In 1996, he obtained his Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc) degree from the University of Durban-Westville and received the merit awarded for his honours research on Myocardial Bridges. Nai’m went on to study at the Medical University of Southern Africa (MEDUNSA) obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree in 2002. After fulfilling his commitments for his medical internship at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital (2002) and community service at the Pretoria Academic Hospital (2003), he undertook speciality training in psychiatry at Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital linked academically to the University of Pretoria.

Integrative psychiatry views an individual as a whole consisting of physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, social, and environmental aspects. Therefore, integrative psychiatry is a holistic approach that uses both conventional and complementary therapies in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. The goal of this approach is to allow health and well-being on all levels.
